The Position

This is a customer focused role within the Alliance Operations Control Centre driving the seamless delivery of our contracted and RPT services to ensure timely and professional communication to all stakeholders.

Key Functions of the Role;

Charter Co-ordination and Operational Delivery

  • Operational delivery of Ad-Hoc charters after handover from Charter Planning
  • Resolving unexpected passenger related issues to ensure the delivery to the client is seamless
  • Provide guidance to Operations Controllers in the event operational issues arise.

 

Client Coordination and Communication

  • Point of contact for clients relating to passengers and passenger services for the delivery of charters on the day of operations
  • Timely and professional communication (verbal and written) to clients and/or passengers in the event of schedule disruption and subsequent recovery plans
  • Provide guidance to Operations Controllers on commercial preferences and 'contracted agreements' in the event of disruption

 

Ground Handling Agents (GHA) / Service providers Operational Coordination & Support

  • Point of contact for GHAs to resolve passenger booking issues, check-in issues, and resolving questions 
  • Point of coordination for passenger related approvals
  • Coordinate and support GHA with implementing passenger recovery plans in the event of disruption
  • Assist GHA / Service providers with resolving service delivery issues

 

To Be Successful

Ideally, you will have demonstrated experience in a similar position, and;

  • Must be extremely capable with PC/Software packages including (but not limited to) Excel, Airline Reservations & Departure Control systems
  • Fully Covid19 vaccinated
  • A clear, articulate communicator both written and verbal
  • Highly organised and used to working to deadlines 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in operational, time critical small teams 
  • Working knowledge of an Operations Control Centre environment and its link to customers.
  • Knowledge of IATA Dangerous Goods Awareness for passengers and crew
  • Previous experience in driving and managing change within a team
  • Proven track record within a high-pressure operational environment
  • Proven airline customer service experience at Airport level
  • Experience in planning or delivery of charter and/ or RPT operations
  • Experience in Airport Operations that includes check-in systems, reservations and ticketing
  • Experience in Airport Operational passenger disruption management.
