Maintain an accurate tool inventory system, ensuring all tools are accounted for and easily accessible. Implement a tracking system for tool usage to ensure tools are returned promptly after use. Tool Calibration and Maintenance: Ensure all tools and equipment are regularly calibrated and maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements and manufacturer specifications. Coordinate with external calibration service providers, where necessary, and maintain records of all calibration activities. Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment to identify and address any wear, damage, or defects. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations, including those set by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) for Part 145 operations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to tool calibration, maintenance, and inspections. Support to Production: Provide technical support to the maintenance team by ensuring the timely availability of tools and equipment. Assist in the identification and procurement of specialized tools required for specific maintenance tasks or projects. Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and recommend improvements to the tooling process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Stay updated on new tooling technologies and best practices in aircraft maintenance to ensure the organization remains competitive and compliant. Safety and Security: Ensure all tools and equipment are stored securely to prevent loss or unauthorized access. Currently that fleet consists of 37 Fokker 70/100 aircraft, 31 Embraer E190 aircraft with firm purchase commitments stretching to mid-2026 for a further 26 E190 aircraft.
