Come and join the Alliance Airlines team as a Technical Support Engineer where you will play a pivotal role ensuring integrity and compliance with our operational fleet.About the RoleWe are searching for a motivated full-time Technical Support Engineer with a background in aircraft Airframe and structures Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Coordinate oversight and management of the Dent & Buckle file for all aircraft in the alliance fleet.Act as a focal for aircraft structural queries and coordinate with OEM’s, Part 21 organisations and Engineering to develop repair actions.Provide technical support to Heavy Maintenance events for the Alliance fleet in conjunction with the on-site Technical Representative.Prompt identification & reporting of anomalies & issues to the Technical Support Manager & Continuing Airworthiness ManagerLiaise with Sub-Contract maintenance organisations as required to achieve operational requirements.Promote and maintain a high standard of quality, safety and security compliance as required by the Alliance Airlines Corporate Safety ManualPromote High Dispatch Reliability & On-Time performance by ensuring AOG rectifications are expedited and coordinated efficiently to optimise scheduled operationsProvide support to AMO’s in relation to technical requests raised via the CAMO databaseEnsure the timely recovery of unserviceable aircraft thereby minimising disruption to the scheduleProvide appropriate recommendations based on informed decisions with respect to ADs and manufacturers and vendor service bulletinsTo be successful you will meet the following requirements:  5 years total in aviation in a similar environmentExperience on Aircraft Structures preferredAME on Alliance Aircraft typesFamiliar with aircraft types under maintenanceHigh Level of Computer literacyExcellent communication skills; oral & documentationFlexible, methodical and well organised in work practicesHave excellent organisational and Time Management skillsAble to respond to sudden changes to work requirementsAble to liaise and work with various levels of peopleAttention to detailDemonstrated commitment to Alliance Values – Safety, Compliance & PerformanceHigh level communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team focussed environmentInitiative and issue resolution skillsStrong analytical and reasoning skillsAbout UsAlliance Airlines is an ASX listed company and is Australasia’s leading provider of contract, charter and allied aviation and maintenance services currently employing in excess of 700 full time staff.
