Through applying this, we have been able to achieve success and are looking for a Technical Support Engineer Defects to join our team.What we are looking for:Our Technical Support Engineer Defects role provides support to ensure fleet operational integrity and compliance is maintained. This role will coordinate remedial actions for aircraft deferred defects to ensure timely and efficient rectification. Provide support to various key stakeholders in relation to maintenance work packages, aircraft defects, and engineering technical requests.The Technical Support Engineer Defects is responsible for, but not limited to:Promote High Dispatch Reliability & On-Time performance by ensuring deferred defect rectifications are expedited and coordinated efficiently to optimise scheduled operations.Be the Primary point in liaising with Maintenance Planning, Maintenance watch and Engineering to ensure deferred defects are rectified in a co-ordinated and efficient manner.Provide assistance in relation to technical requests raised via the CAMO database.Act as a focal for aircraft deferred defects and coordinate with OEM’s, Part 21 organisations and Engineering to develop repair actions.Provide support to Heavy Maintenance events for the Alliance fleet in conjunction with the on-site Technical Representative to clear aircraft of all deferred defects.Prompt identification & reporting of anomalies & issues to the Technical Support Manager & Continuing Airworthiness ManagerLiaise with Sub-Contract maintenance organisations as required to achieve operational requirements.Advise Continuing Airworthiness Manager immediately when a Major Defect or non-compliance during evaluation of deferred defects.Provide technical support assistance to Alliance Maintenance watch as part of the day to day operations.Liaise with manufacturers or vendors for the resolution of technical problems.Position Requirements:Minimum 5 years experience in Aviation in a similar roleExperienced AME on Alliance Aircraft typesFamiliar with aircraft types under maintenance.Willing to respond to out of hour’s questions and requests for advice.High Level of Computer literacyExcellent communication skills; oral & documentationFlexible, methodical and well organised in work practices.Able to liaise and work with various levels of peopleAttention to detailWhy Alliance Airlines?From our ground staff, to flight attendants, corporate staff/other staff, managers and directors, we share a down-to-earth philosophy of working towards a common goal of providing a safer, premium flying experience for customers while creating a thriving work environment where our employees feel valued.ASX listed company8 offices across AustraliaSignificant recent expansion and continued growth through 2023 and beyondOpen and collaborative working environmentJoin a team that genuinely want you to succeed and value your eminent contributions.Employee wellbeing programActive community support and involvementStaff car park provided**COVID safe practices will be complied with throughout the Alliance recruitment process and all applicants must also comply.** If this sounds like the ideal role for you and you have the skills we're looking for, we'd love to hear from you.
