Come and join us in a newly created role as the Stores Supervisor - Rockhampton where you will play a pivotal role in the operations of the new facility at Alliance Airlines.About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated Stores Supervisor to control the daily operations of the Rockhampton Store inclusive of actively participating in routine logistics functions to support Engineering maintenance activities.Reporting to the Stores and Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for;Overseeing and monitoring the performance of StoresEnsure rectification in an appropriate and timely manner of deficiencies identified as a result of the:Quality Assurance ProgramAny internal evaluation programAny AuditDevelop and monitor provisioning processes to meet upcoming requirementsMaintain effective relationships with VendorsMonitor supplier performancePrepare reports as required by the Stores and Logistics ManagerMonitor and oversee Store persons performanceWork Place Health and Safety as per the Act 2011 (QLD) and company policiesEnsure that health and safety responsibilities of workers are effectively communicated Assess fulfilment of HSE responsibilities, key HSE expectations and HSE accountabilities during the PAR process.Ensure workers are trained in and follow policies, procedures and safe systems of workEnsure safe work procedures are developed and regularly reviewed for high risk tasksTo be successful you will meet the following requirements:  Logistics and Warehousing experience in a supervisory capacity (Desired)Manual drivers licence and forklift licence (LF)Experience with computer-based inventory systemsExperience in the aviation industry (Desired) with an understanding of CASR Part 42 and Part 145 Regulations within an aircraft maintenance organisationFamiliarity with the operational objectives of an aviation businessDemonstrated ability to apply logic to compilation of dataExcellent written and oral communicationAbility to prioritise, plan and organize work in consultation with team members in order to meet deadlinesFocus on maintaining accuracy when completing tasks in accordance with work instructionsFlexibility, with a willingness to undertake a wide variety of tasksA thorough understanding of and commitment to teamworkDemonstrated commitment to Alliance Values – Performance, Purpose, People & ServiceAbout Alliance AirlinesAlliance is Australasia’s leading provider of contract, charter and allied aviation and maintenance services currently employing more than 1,400 staff.Alliance has world leading operational performance, a key attribute sought by its customers.
