Stores Officer

What we're looking for

At the Stores Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Engineering team by providing essential logistics and stores management to ensure the efficient completion of aircraft maintenance. Your responsibilities will include managing incoming parts and materials, accurately receipting inventory, and maintaining a safe and compliant environment. With a keen eye for detail, you will take pride in maintaining an organized and tidy store, while delivering exceptional customer service. Your dedication to precision and efficiency will be vital in ensuring the seamless operation of our maintenance processes.

The Stores Officer is responsible for, but not limited to:

• Check and receipt deliveries against purchase orders.
• Product labelling and identification
• Ensuring inventory movements and inventory integrity are maintained.
• Handling products with care always.
• Performing stocktakes as directed
• Process all admin, reports, receipts and paperwork efficiently and accurately.
• Coordinating the supply of goods to internal and external customers
• Forklift driving.
• Comply with safety & security laws and other relevant regulatory requirements

To Be Successful

Ideally, you will have demonstrated experience in a similar position and possess the following:

• Experience in the aviation industry (highly desirable)
• Competent in Microsoft suite.
• Manual Drivers Licence
• Forklift licence
• Current Dangerous Goods certificate (highly desirable)
• Previous Supply Chain & Logistic Experience (highly desirable)
• Experience with Computer Based Inventory Systems
• Attention to detail
• Aptitude for handling technical data in a store’s environment
• Demonstrate understanding of methods of packing and shipping goods
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
