In return, we offer a role in an exciting and fast-paced organisation where development opportunities are endless.The PositionThe Stores Officer is responsible for managing incoming parts and material and the receipting of inventory in a safe and compliant manner. Additionally, the role is responsible for providing logistics and stores support to the Engineering team to ensure aircraft maintenance is completed efficiently. You will be driven by having great attention to detail, taking pride in the tidiness of the Stores and providing excellent customer service.The Stores Officer is responsible for, but not limited to:Picking and packing with high accuracy and within designated deadlines.Check and receipt deliveries against purchase orders.Product labelling and identification.Ensuring inventory movements and inventory integrity are maintained.Handling products with care always.Performing stocktakes as directedProcess all admin, reports, receipts and paperwork efficiently and accurately.Coordinating the supply of goods to internal and external customersForklift driving.Comply with safety & security laws and other relevant regulatory requirements.To Be SuccessfulIdeally, you will have demonstrated experience in a similar position and possess the following:Experience in the aviation industry (highly desirable)Competent in Microsoft suite.Manual Drivers LicenceForklift licenceCurrent Dangerous Goods certificate (highly desirable)Previous Stores ExperienceExperience with Computer Based Inventory SystemsAttention to detailAptitude for handling technical data in a store’s environmentDemonstrate understanding of methods of packing and shipping goodsHigh level communication skillHere at Alliance Airlines no one day is the same from moving small consumable parts to aircraft enginesAbout UsAlliance Airlines is an ASX listed company and is Australasia’s leading provider of contract, charter and allied aviation and maintenance services currently employing in excess of over 1000 full time staff.
