We are currently recruiting for a Store Person – Facilities and Tooling to join our team at Unity Aviation Maintenance (UAM).About the RoleReporting directly to the UAM Aircraft Maintenance Manager, the role is responsible for the co-ordination of all servicing, inspection and repair of all Ground Support Equipment (GSE) company vehicles, hangar equipment and facilities.Duties include, but are not limited to:Ensure all hangar equipment and facilities (including fire systems) are maintained and kept in a serviceable condition, so as not to jeopardise the through put of aircraft in maintenance. Where equipment or facilities cannot be maintained, present alternative options to Senior ManagementAssist in the negotiation of prices regarding the replacement of engineering equipment as directedAssist in the preparation of Workload Forecasts and Cost Quotations in support of planned and future projectsTo plan and co-ordinate Project tasks undertaken by Engineering, and to generate the necessary Project Plan to ensure that the tasks are fully understood and that resources and capabilities are available to meet the achievement of the plans. This includes plotting critical path analysis requirements where necessaryControlling, maintaining and developing the Project and Facilities management sectionIntroduction and development of Project and Facilities management functionalities, procedures and methodologies, in order to improve the efficiency and effectively of the departmentAbout YouThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Store Person to join a dedicated, well supported, and hard-working team.
