Through applying this, we have been able to achieve success and are looking for a Shared Services Manager to join our team.What we are looking forThe Shared Services Manager will ensure that the accounts payable and the accounts receivable functions run efficiently and effectively with the highest levels of accuracy and the required outputs are delivered on time. The Shared Services Manager will provide quality leadership and support to the Shared Services Team and will work closely with Finance Managers and Regional General Managers.The Shared Services Manager is responsible for but not limited to:Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Shared Services team processes, ensuring that flow on accounting implications are identified, understood and communicated to Financial Controller.Manage the Accounts Receivable function including the efficient and accurate invoicing of charter services and any other ancillary services. This also includes the management of debtors and debt collection activities.Manage the Accounts Payable function to ensure accurate inputting and timely payment of supplier invoices. Oversee and where appropriate improve the Accounts Payable processes.Provide daily direction, leadership, and assistance to Shared Services team members.Seek to continually identify areas where process improvement opportunities could be implemented.In conjunction with the Financial Accounting Manager, manage transactional month end close processes including the review of associated account balance sheet reconciliations.Provide weekly and monthly reporting to executive management and other internal stakeholders.System development, implementation and maintenance to ensure accurate and efficient processing of accounting transactions.Work in conjunction with Management, Finance and other stakeholders to ensure appropriate internal controls and risk management procedures are developed and maintained.Position requirementsQualifications:  A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or similar is preferred and/or demonstrated experience.Experience and knowledge:Demonstrated skills in managing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions (minimum 5 years).Current knowledge of general accounting principles.Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Technology One considered an advantage) and Office 365 suit (especially Excel).Comprehensive knowledge of:Modern Awards and other state and industry legislationPayroll tax and Workcover legislation across multiple jurisdictionsTeam management experience.Skills: Very strong focus on providing a high-quality service to internal clients.High level communication skills with ability to deal with staff from all levels.Proven skills in self-management and organisation; along with ability to review detailed data, spot anomalies and/or gaps and identify and implement solutions.Strong commitment to maintenance of highest standards of confidentialityAbility to prioritise and manage own workloadStrong analytical and reasoning skillsAccuracy and attention to detailA leader who can coach and motivate a team to perform at optimum levelsAbout UsAlliance Airlines is an ASX listed company and is Australasia’s leading provider of contract, charter and allied aviation and maintenance services currently employing in excess of 1000 full time staff.
