The Position

We are seeking a Revenue Accountant to ensure accurate financial transactions are recorded in the flight/general ledger in accordance with relevant accounting policies and agreed timeframes while delivering relevant and timely financial reporting.

Key Functions of the role

The Revenue Accountant is responsible for but not limited to:

  • Producing materially accurate receivables reporting
  • Assisting with the establishment and maintenance of internal control procedures
  • Being actively involved with assisting the analysts with future planning and forecasting
  • Assisting with monitoring, collecting and resolving accounts receivable aging items
  • Helping with queries from customers, suppliers & customer managers.
  • Ensuring records and systems are kept accurately and up-to-date, with a focus on continuous improvement.

To Be Successful

You will have demonstrated experience working in a complex environment in a similar position and possess the following:

  • Degree qualifications or equivalent in a commercial discipline (Business/Commerce/Accounting)
  • Fully Covid19 vaccinated
  • CPA/CA qualified or currently undertaking professional studies
  • Advanced MS excel knowledge
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role 
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and performance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
