With this, we have been able to achieve success and are looking for a Quality and Safety Lead to expand our Safety team. What we’re looking forWe are seeking an exceptional person to ensure effective acquittal of the Company Audit schedule. Provide positive engagement and support with Alliance Airlines department heads with relation to Quality and Compliance Requirements. This position will be Full-Time and reporting to the Quality Systems Manager. In addition, be based in our Corporate Head Offices located at the Brisbane Airport. Due to the nature of the role, it will require the successful applicant to work primarily in the office This position will be responsible for:Ensuring quality auditors have a clear understanding of the Audit schedule and accountabilities to complete allocated audits as determined;Perform all allocated audits in a timely manner, review and approve as required extensions of audit completion dates by the audit team.Perform functions assigned by the GM Safety related to employees’ skills, experience or delegations’ issue by CASA.Complete allocated Investigations and/or provide SME input to Investigations as requested by the Safety ManagerDevelop members of the Quality team and Alliance departments with relation to Quality System requirements and outcomes. What makes you the right person?To be successful we are looking for the following: Hold an Aviation Lead Auditor certificate. (essential)Hold/held a Aircraft Maintenance qualification and/or license. (desirable)Part 145 or 42 (Engineering or Maintenance) experienceHold a Safety Investigator accreditation. (desirable)Demonstrated instructional ability, preferably Certificate IV Work Place Training and Assessment or equivalent. (desirable)Demonstrated technical experience and knowledge of Alliance Airlines aircraft/engine fleet or of similar category / type.Experience and knowledge in an Australian regulatory environment.Experience and knowledge of a working airline operation department including ground and air operations.Experience and knowledge of a Continuing Airworthiness department. Due to the nature of our organisation, you must also have:Must have received at least 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccine (and be willing to receive your 3rd dose when eligible)Appropriate working rights to work in Australia (we do not offer work sponsorships for this role)  Covid-19 VaccineTo ensure the safety and security of our employees, customers and operations, you will need to be up to date with your vaccinations against Covid-19 to be able to work at Alliance.
