About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual looking to build on their relevant skills and experience as a Product Development Engineer. Managing and sustaining aircraft components, products, and maintenance & repair processes (CPMRP) in support of the Alliance fleet, within the required standards of safety, and reliability. Key Functions of the role:Development of effective solutions for CPMRP items effecting fleet reliability and/or safety.Development of effective solutions for CPMRP items subject to escalating and unsustainable costProvide technical support to the Base Maintenance staff in relation to CPMRP items affecting the performance of maintenance or modification tasks.Provide technical support to the Technical Support Manager in relation to CPMRP items related to defect tasks.Develop and implement alternate parts supply options through local fabrication, PC and APMA.Maintain regulatory oversight for all alternate parts supply options once developed.Manage suppliers and vendor relationships to develop capabilities and sustainable solutions for CPMR items.
