This role will suit candidates with a proven track record in leading a payroll function, able to recommend and implement continuous improvements and assist the Company in creating strong foundations as we continue grow.Key Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 1400+ employees across AustraliaLead and mentor the payroll teamSystems development, implementation and maintenanceEnsure compliance with payroll laws and tax obligationsComplete PAYG, Payroll Tax, WorkCover, and Superannuation payments.Work collaboratively with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate informationConduct regular audits for data integrity and complianceWork closely with PMO regarding scoping and implementation of new Crew Resourcing Platform and future system implemtations About youYou are passionate about providing high-quality service to internal clients, with prior experience managing a Payroll of 1,000+ employees (minimum 3 years), along with:A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or similar is preferred and/or demonstrated experienceEye for detail and focus on accuracyExperience in designing, mapping and improving workflow processesStrong communication skills both verbal and writtenCurrent knowledge of general payroll practices, industrial instruments and general employment related legislationFamiliarity with payroll software, with Chris21 experience desirableAdvanced excel skillsAbility to pass a Police Check AUD Brisbane 4000
