  • Provide SME input to Quality and Safety Investigations as requested

  • Analyse all safety occurrences to determine if investigation is warranted in accordance with CSM
  • Report any significant or elevated safety risks to the CEO, GM RAM and Head of Safety
  • Develop and maintains organisational tools, procedures and methodologies for Safety Risk and Change Management System for the AMO.
  • Assists with developing and implementing safety procedures consistent with the operational requirements of the AMO
  • Ensures compliance with employment agreements and company policies in all activities

WH&S, Quality, Safety, Security, Environmental & Regulatory Compliance

  • Promote and maintain a high standard of quality, safety and security compliance as required by the Alliance Airlines Company Safety Manual by all subordinate staff

  • Liaise with CASA (as directed by the Executive Management) in relevant matters affecting AMO Quality and Safety. Comply with all mandatory incident and reporting requirements
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with regulatory and other external customers/contractors as required
  • Ensure a high standard of WH&S and environmental compliance in accordance with state legislative requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Eligible for CASA Form 004 requirements (Mandatory)
  • Significant P145 experience, preferably Base Maintenance
  • Hold an Aviation Lead Auditor certificate (Mandatory)
  • Hold a Safety Investigator accreditation (Mandatory)
  • Have Aviation experience and/or associated Tertiary qualification
  • Hold an Environmental accreditation (Desirable)
  • Hold an WH&S accreditation (Desirable)
  • Ability to hold an ASIC (Mandatory)
