In return, we offer a challenging role in an exciting and fast-paced organisation where development opportunities are endless.About the RoleThe Operations Controller ensures the integrity of the Alliance Airlines Network by coordinating aircraft and crew resources while ensuring the requirements of Safety and Compliance, Flight Operations, Engineering Ground Operations, and our customer are met. The Operations Controller may be required to work 24 x 7 shift work. Key Responsibilities Accurately maintain the airlines Charter and RPT schedule within the Operations Control System.Monitoring and optimizing the airline schedule, to minimize airline disruption and maximize On Time Performance (OTP).Manage the Metron Harmony Slot Control program, coordinating with Air Services Australia and airlines, ensuring optimization and compliance within the program.Solving complex operational problems with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to: Engineering, Airports, Flight Operations, Commercial, Clients, Air Services, other Airlines etc.Work closely with Client & Charter Coordinators and Commercial with regards to customer recovery and customer flow during disruption.Coordinate Ad-hoc charter and client requests within the operational window, ensuring the requests are operationally feasible.Manage communication output where there are delayed, disrupted, and cancelled services to ensure all critical stakeholders involved are informed.Coordination of Flight Planning with Qantas Flight Planning.Monitoring / Assessing Weather Conditions across the Network to proactively manage disruption.VHF/HF Communications with operating crew.Maintain Flight Crew and Cabin Crew rosters after publication, considering all regulatory, company and fatigue management requirements, ensuring flights are crewed and disruption to the schedule minimised.Direct communication with Flight and Cabin CrewRe-crewing of services due to disruption, sick leave, or additional servicesAssessment and approval of Crew Trip SwapsAdvice of Crew Roster changes both verbally and electronicallyCoordination of Crew Deadheading, Crew Accommodation and Transport.About YouMust be extremely capable with PC/Software packages including (but not limited to) Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel).
