A newly created role as Manager Resource Planning now exists with Alliance Airlines in our Network Operations team.About the RoleThe Manager is responsible for ensuring compliant and safe rosters are published on time for all Flight Crew and Cabin Crew members. You will also be responsible for ensuring all regulatory and industrial changes are implemented into the roster production cycle.  Ongoing liaison and relationship building with Flight and Network Operations Management is essential.As the Manager, you will work closely with the Scheduling & Analytics team as well as the broader Operations team to continually improve on the ability to forecast crew numbers, training plans, rosters and recruitment/transfer requirements. This will ensure more accurate and stable resource plans for the crew members. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Lead, motivate and inspire all team members within the departmentEnsure the team members are supported with the required systems and resources to effectively deliver robust training plans and rostersDevelopment and Implement resource and training plans that reflect the latest assumptionsIntegrate and monitor manpower requirements, both Non-Operational (Training, leave, part-time etc.) and Operational requirements to deliver a single, central manpower plan for all aircraft fleets and basesThink innovatively to evaluate, create and implement cost benefit opportunities that improve working practices. (Including systems and process, lines of communication etc.)Ensure a high standard of OH&S and environmental compliance in accordance with state lawTo be successful you will meet the following requirements:  Educated to degree level or business experience equivalent.3+ years in a Resource Planning positionProven ability to analyse data and make clear recommendations to the management teamHands On experience in Crew Scheduling and the use of Crew Scheduling softwareUnderstanding/experience of Airport Operations / constraintsUnderstanding/experience in Crew Resource Management, Rostering and the application of legislation and industrial agreements relating to crew.Experience in people management and performanceMust be extremely capable with PC/Software packages including (but not limited to) Excel, Airline Crew management and Flight Scheduling software systems.A clear, articulate communicator both written and verbalHighly organised and used to working to deadlines in a busy and ever changing environmentHighly developed planning and problem solving skills About UsAlliance Airlines is an ASX listed company and is Australasia’s leading provider of contract, charter and allied aviation and maintenance services currently employing in excess of 800 full time staff.
