Maintenance Program Support Officer

An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Program Support Officer, reporting direct to the Maintenance Program Manager, is available at Alliance Airlines, based in Brisbane within our Continued Airworthiness Maintenance Organisation (CAMO).You will be a motivated self-starter who thrives working both autonomously and in a team environment.

The Role

The Maintenance Program Support Officer is responsible for providing clerical & technical support to the Maintenance Program team, ensuring effective management and control of the aircraft maintenance program.

The Maintenance Program Support Officer is responsible for, but not limited to:

• Provide administration support for the planning of major assembly’s shop visits.
• Support the maintenance of the shop visit plan.
• Assist the Maintenance Program Engineer with data acquisition for Technical Assessments and recommendations for Maintenance Program improvements.
• Research and collate applicable technical data and any revisions received to support maintenance program compliance.
• Research previous operator data relevant to maintenance system compliance
• Under the direction of the Maintenance Program Engineer update the Maintenance Program to ensure the program remains compliant and effective
• Research and provide data with respect to Airworthiness Directives and manufacturer and vendor service bulletins.
• Publish work scopes and guidance material to support the Maintenance Program Engineer
• Preparations and submission of reports
• Create and interpret approved technical data and drawings 
  
  
  

The successful candidate will have well developed computing skills, particularly Microsoft Office suite of programs, in addition to:

• Study at a tertiary level in a relevant business or engineering discipline
• Engineering knowledge/experience (desirable)
• High level communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team focussed environment
• Proven ability to take initiative
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills
