You will be a motivated self-starter who thrives working in a dynamic environment.   Ensuring regulatory compliance of the Alliance fleet in regards to the Alliance maintenance programs, aircraft and component modifications and associated documentation.  What we’re looking for The Maintenance Program Engineer - Avionics is responsible for but not limited to:  ComplianceEnsure continual compliance of the aircraft maintenance programs, reliability program and ancillary functionsManage the control and completion of all assigned SMS actions and Findings in a timely manner.Encourage safety reporting within the SMS by all staffOperationsAssessment of applicable AD’s and SB’s and recommendations for inclusion in the AMPPreparation of work scope for maintenance assessments required to provide compliance with ADs, SBs or Alliance requirements, inclusive of spares / resource requirements and associated costsProvision of technical guidance on suitable alternate parts manufacturer’s or other approved dataAssistance in alternate tool approval processPreparation and submission of cost based reports for proposed / required modificationsDevelopment of modifications in conjunction with approved external design organisations and AMO’s, and incorporation of these modifications in the Alliance AMPEvaluation of defects in conjunction with the Reliability team for revision to maintenance requirements.Provision of major assembly assessment as required.Technical assessment of A/C manufacturer and vendor documentation for implications to the AMP and implementation on agreed changesSupport of Management in planning for and executing safe operations.Compliance with safety laws and regulations.Awareness of Company Safety and Security Policy & Procedures and actions in accordance with applicable regulations and company standards.Provision of ad hoc technical support to Alliance Engineering To Be Successful Qualifications:  The Maintenance Program Officer must:Hold, or have held, an aircraft engineer licence in category B1, B2 or C; orHold, or have held, a licence that is equivalent to a licence in category B1, B2 or C; orHave a qualification in aircraft maintenance at least at Certificate IV level; orHave an engineering qualification at least at diploma level in any of the following disciplines:Aeronautical;Avionics;Mechanical;Electrical; Knowledge:The Maintenance Program Officer must have:Knowledge of the CAMO’s expositionComprehensive knowledge of A/C and systems relevant to their field of expertise Skills: The Maintenance Program Officer must have:Effective time management and organisational skillsExcellent communication, both verbal and writtenDemonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team focussed environmentWell developed computing skills, particularly Microsoft office suite of programsStrong analytical and reasoning skillsAbility to analyse and develop technical documentationAbility to evaluate defects to establish cause and preventions Attention to detail Experience: Experience in the aviation industry  Alliance Airlines Alliance is Australasia’s leading provider of contract, charter and allied aviation and maintenance services currently employing more than 1,400 staff. Alliance has world leading operational performance, a key attribute sought by its customers.
