Alliance is poised to see significant financial growth and as a result we are looking for an experienced Group Financial Reporting Manager, to join us in this exciting new chapter. About the Role The Group Financial Reporting Manager will ensure statutory financial and management reporting is accurate, up to date and delivered on a timely basis to a number of functional areas across the business.  The Group Financial Reporting Manager will have input into the development of profit centre reporting and key performance indicators.Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Group Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for, but not limited to:Develop a reporting framework for the Group’s various profit centres and provide the CFO meaningful commentary on actual vs forecast.Interpret operating results, identify improvement opportunities and propose corrective actions;Prepare Statutory Group Financial Statements in line with the businesses reporting requirements and accepted accounting principles and standards;Oversee the functional financial systems administration;Develop and maintain a database of key business drivers and rate assumptions to support reporting and modelling outcomes;Development of KPI Dashboards for the group;Maintain, publish and update a suite of monthly reports (e.g. CFO report, CCO report, COO report) ensuring they are fulfilling the end users requirements;Business requirements gathering for future phases of Technology One implementation project;Support adhoc business modelling and analysis for CFO, CEO, Senior Management or Financial ControllerAssist in implementing and maintaining an Activity Based Costing model; and proactively review processes and implement efficiency changes where appropriate. About You You will have Tertiary qualifications in accounting with CPA/CA qualifications a mandatory requirement with a well developed knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles, statistical methods, and commercial practice.  A minimum of 5 years in an accounting or analytical role within a complex asset intensive environment, a minimum of 3 years in a financial/management reporting role and broad-based experience in finance positions.  You will have strong analytical and research skills with the ability to acquire sufficient technical knowledge to understand key business drivers.  Possess excellent highly developed communication skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels of the personnel and external advisors.  Utilising your strong technical accounting skills and strong initiative, you will meet deadlines and perform well under pressure. In addition, you will possess: Tertiary qualifications in accountingCPA / CA qualifiedA minimum of 5 years in an accounting or analytical role within a complex asset intensive environmentAdvanced skills in Excel, Power BI and/or Tableau and Technology OneBe fully vaccinated against Covid-19Why Alliance Airlines? Alliance Airlines is a successful FIFO transport provider with over 20 years’ experience providing safe, on-time performance to our client based.
