Are you ready to start your career in Australia's largest FIFO & Charter Airline and soar to new heights?We are looking for a Flight Operations Support Officer to backfill a secondment for a period of 12mths with potential to extend. Our Flight Operations Support Officer will ensure compliance and standards are maintained across all Fokker and Embraer aircraft. You will maintain strong communication with relevant departments, regarding policies and procedures.As the Flight Operations Support Officer you will have delegated authority to ensure the following responsibilities are delivered within their department:Delivery of support, administrative activities for Flight and Cabin Crew management and all supporting information processes.Provide relevant support to the relevant departmental Managers within Flight Operations, including Flight Standards, Line Operations, Cabin Crew and Technical.This role must ensure you actively comply with company safety and security standards and documented company procedures.Key Responsibilities The Flight Operations Support Officer is responsible for but not limited to:Produce and amend controlled documentation supporting all Flight Operations and Cabin Crew activities and liaise with other operational departments and the library to ensure consistency.Production and coordination of Operational Notices issued to flight and cabin crew.Ongoing support for the Flight Operations library as directed by the Manager Flight Operations Support.Development of content for the aircraft libraries ensuring any changes are reviewed and approved by the relevant manager.Engage with operational departments to ensure consistency across company manuals, processes, and policies.Update the Flight Operations regulatory compliance statements with manual revisions.Provide technical and administrative support services to the Flight Operations and Cabin Crew management team as directed by the Manager Flight Operations Support.Develop, implementation support for the Flight Operations Internal Audit Program. (IOSA)Review of regulatory changes and identification of any that may require consideration or change by the Flight Operations department.Maintain and update Flight Operations communications channels, such as the Flight Operations department SharePoint site.Maintain the Flight Operations instruments, approvals and exemptions register.Conduct project support functions as directed by the Manager Flight Operations Support.Comply with safety and security laws and other relevant regulatory requirementsComply with all company policies and proceduresUpdating and ensuring all necessary documentation is current for all Pilots.Safety & Security CompliancePromote and maintain a high standard of quality, safety and security compliance as required by the Alliance Airlines Corporate Safety Manual by all subordinate staff.Promote safety & security reporting within AQD by all staff including external service providers.Ensure a high standard of OH&S and environmental compliance in accordance with state law.POSITION REQUIREMENTS Qualifications: Secondary EducationStudying or recently completed a Bachelor in Aviation Management Knowledge:Extensive knowledge of Australian aviation regulations, including changes to regulationsKnowledge of IOSA requirements is beneficial Skills:High level written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work under pressureDemonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team focussed environmentStrong analytical, reasoning, and lateral thinking skillsExtensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suiteProblem solving skillsMaturity and ability to make quick, accurate decisions in difficult circumstances.Flexibility to adapt to a changing work environment.Professionalism / maturity, sense of urgency, attention to detail, and confidentiality.Experience: Background in development of processes and procedures in an aviation environment preferred but not essential.This is a 100% on-site position (5 days a week).
