This is a great opportunity for the right person to move toward the next level of their accounting career.This is a 100% on-site position (5 days a week) Drug and Alcohol testing and police check clearance will be part of the recruitment process.The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to):Managing the month-end accounting process to ensure accurate financial reportingPreparation of monthly management reports tracking financial performance against budget and providing commentary on management reportsConducting financial reviews, preparing reports, aiding audits, and ensuring all accounts are reconciled accuratelyPreparation of income tax, FBT and BAS returnsManage regular payment run processesReview monthly results with key business finance membersAssist in cash flow forecasting and annual budget preparationStatutory, Tax & ComplianceProvide support to the wider finance teamBuilding strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders The successful candidate will bring:3-5+ years experience of general accounting experience, either in a similar organisation, industry, or in public accounting firmTertiary degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or CommerceCPA/CA qualifiedCash Forecasting/Treasury experienceTax and experience with internal and external auditsStrong written and verbal communication skillsIntermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsSafety & Security CompliancePromoting and maintaining a high standard of quality, safety and security compliance and reporting as required by the Alliance Airlines Corporate Safety ManualEnsuring a high standard of OH&S and environmental compliance in accordance with relevant legislationAlliance AirlinesAlliance is Australasia’s leading provider of contract, charter and allied aviation and maintenance services currently employing more than 1,400 staff.
