This role includes assisting with repairs, monitoring basic contractor activities, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have some experience in facilities support or maintenance work. Key Responsibilities  Facility Maintenance:  Assist in routine maintenance and minor repairs of hangar facilities, including general upkeep of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.  Monitor the condition of facility equipment and report issues to the Facilities Manager.   Safety and Compliance:  Support the enforcement of health and safety regulations within the hangar.  Participate in safety inspections and assist in implementing corrective actions.    Contractor Assistance:  Assist in liaising with external contractors and vendors for maintenance services.  Ensure that contractor work is conducted safely and efficiently.   Operational Support:  Help with the planning and implementation of facility projects and improvements.  Participate in efforts to enhance energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.   Documentation and Reporting:  Maintain basic records of maintenance activities and safety checks.  Provide updates and reports to the Facilities Manager as needed. Qualifications and Experience Education:  High school diploma or equivalent. Currently that fleet consists of 37 Fokker 70/100 aircraft, 31 Embraer E190 aircraft with firm purchase commitments stretching to mid-2026 for a further 26 E190 aircraft.
