You will have hands-on experience in infrastructure, development, data roles and leadership. You will also have a strong interest in Cyber Security and IT Operations and will lead initiatives to improve the current state.You will report to the CIO and be part of the IT leadership team. You will ideally have an Aviation background and/or enjoy working in a complex environment that requires critical operations 24/7.You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the business, application, information (data) and technical architectures; evaluating and assessing future technologies; maintaining the architecture and technology standards and resolving compliance and regulatory issues.Candidates, please note, this is a 100% on-site position (5 days a week). Drug and Alcohol testing will be part of the recruitment process.  Applicant must be an Australian Citizen to obtain ASIC clearance.The Role  Analysing the current state and future vision of the IT landscape and business processes.Prepare architectural roadmaps, end-state architecture models, and frameworks to inform and guide on significant technology investments and decisions.Developing, documenting and maintaining enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, policies and best practices.Assess initiatives and proposals against EA principles, standards, patterns, capabilities, strategic initiatives, and requirements.Designing and overseeing the implementation of IT solutions that align with the enterprise architecture vision and principles.Ensure that all relevant architecture artefacts within the EA repository are updated to reflect delivered solutions.Collaborating with project managers, business analysts, developers, testers and other stakeholders to ensure the quality and success of IT projects.Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and design patterns.Provide internal consulting function on aspects of the architecture framework and technology roadmaps.Identify and evaluate risks associated with proposed solutions, considering factors such as data privacy, security vulnerabilities, compliance requirements, and technology limitations.Establish and perform capability assessments to evaluate baseline and target capability maturity levels to identify potential areas of impact to the system through the deployment of target architectures.Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to solution architecture, development processes, and technical standards. Seek feedback from stakeholders and incorporate lessons learned into future projects.Manage, Drive and Support third party data suppliers in developing specifications that are congruent with the Enterprise data architecture.Develop models and plans to drive the execution of the business strategy, taking advantage of opportunities to improve business and system performance.Providing guidance, mentoring and coaching to other IT professionalsAbout YouAt least 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture or a similar role working on a range of different IT programmes.A certification in TOGAF, Zachman or another recognised enterprise architecture frameworkTertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry certifications (eg CISSP)A strong understanding of various IT domains, such as applications, data, infrastructure, databases, networking, security, cloud, etc.Extensive experience in architecting and implementing enterprise applications, data warehouse, master data management, data integration, BI & analytics, content management and data management platforms.Demonstrated experience in delivering architecture designs for complex and business critical operational systems.Good understanding of information security/architecture/risk frameworks such as NIST, ASD8, ISO27001.A strong knowledge of various IT methodologies, such as agile, waterfall, DevOps, etc.Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving and leadership skills with the ability to build consensus and articulate a roadmap/strategy.If you are flexible in your approach, are solutions orientated with a great ‘can-do’ attitude, this could be the role for you.If this sounds like the ideal role for you and you have the skills we're looking for, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today. About Alliance AirlinesAlliance airlines is Australia's largest charter airline providing charter services, wet and dry leasing to the mining, construction, government, entertainment and sporting industries.  We are currently operating 72 aircraft with another 30 purchased to be operational by 2026.
