This role will be Part-Time working 3 days per week (Monday, Friday & week day of your choice)Based in our Head Office near Brisbane Airport, the Document Controller will provide essential document control and librarian services as outlined in the Document Control Manual. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with company safety and security standards and facilitating the efficient operation of our manual management system.Key Responsibilities:Document Control:Coordinate and distribute revision-controlled company manuals in a timely manner to support efficient operations.Maintain a register of controlled company and supplied manuals, including publications, locations, holders, and revision status.Coordinate the distribution of manuals and updates to relevant stakeholders, including company and manufacturers' updates.Provide assistance with manual creation, maintenance, and formatting in accordance with company policy.Archive unnecessary manuals and raise purchase orders for subscriptions and renewals.Librarian:Repair damaged manuals and ensure their proper maintenance.Assist with the collection and distribution of manuals and revisions.Support business needs by maintaining a professional and efficient library operation.Administration:Maintain CASA correspondence/documentation, including approvals, exemptions, and dispensations.Ensure all administrative functions are conducted professionally, timely, and efficiently to meet company needs.Safety & Security Compliance:Promote and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and security compliance as required by company policies.Encourage a culture of safety in all activities and promote safety reporting within the organization.Ensure compliance with OH&S and environmental regulations.Major Challenges:Coordinate and maintain an effective library operation in collaboration with all Alliance Airlines departments and external suppliers.Manage various tasks effectively, prioritizing workload to meet company needs.Position Requirements:Qualifications:Year 12 High School Certificate.High competency levels in word processing programs such as MS Word or equivalent.Desirable Qualifications:Document Control qualification.Extensive experience with office management support, along with completion of relevant tertiary study.Other certificates demonstrating business or secretarial/administration skills.Knowledge & Skills:Understanding of company policies, including the format of company operations manuals.Good interpersonal skills and ability to follow instructions.Sound decision-making skills.Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.Strong teamwork ability and self-discipline.Experience:Previous Aviation Document Control experience preferred.Highly developed computer skills, including knowledge of Word and Excel.Two years of secretarial/administration background.Ability to operate successfully without direct supervision, including excellent time management and prioritization skills.Co-operative and friendly nature, with traits such as tenacity, professionalism, attention to detail, and confidentiality.About Alliance Alliance is Australasia's leading provider of contract, charter and allied aviation and maintenance services currently employing more than 1300 staff.The Company provides essential services to mining, energy, and government sectors as well as wet lease services for other airlines.Alliance holds IATA's IOSA Certification, the only Australian contract and charter operator to do so and Flight Safety Foundation "BARS Gold" status, the first such carrier in Australia to achieve Gold status.Alliance is unique in that it owns its whole fleet.
