Come and join us as a Customer Enquiry and Reservation System Supervisor where you will play a pivotal role in the ongoing operation of Alliance Airlines. You will be responsible for responding to and actioning reservations and general enquiries from our customers.About the Role Working closely with the broader Commercial team, along with other key stakeholders, the role is also the Commercial Department lead for the development and maintenance of the airline’s reservations system (Avantik) and associated fare rules and commercial policies.Reporting to the National Charter Sales Manager, key responsibilities include:Be the initial point of escalation for any issues/uncertainties raised by other reservations or customer enquiry team members/contractorsProvide training and guidance as required to other reservations or customer enquiry team members/contractorsBe an "ambassador" for Alliance Airlines to ensure customers feel valued and supported, and their enquiry is dealt with appropriatelyProcess flight changes, cancellations, refunds, credits, schedule changes in a timely mannerBe the Commercial Team "lead" on the airline reservations system (Avantik) and Corporate Portal and liaise with IT, Operations and other areas on system developmentProcess sponsorship and competition bookings and assist Staff Travel with bookings if required About YouYou are a highly experienced and organised customer service professional with a keen eye for detail. You will have the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing stakeholder expectations to ensure positive outcomes across the business.In addition, you will possess: Capable with PC/Software packages including (but not limited to) Excel, Outlook and Word.Familiar with Airline Reservations Systems, including ticketing,Highly organised and used to working to deadlines in a busy and ever changing environment.A clear and articulate communicator, both written and verbal.Able to work under time pressures, including assisting with urgent after hours email enquiriesAble to work collaboratively with other departments to drive results to benefit the commercial teamProven track record within a high pressure environmentExperience in airline reservations, operations and customer serviceFamiliarity with airline policies and procedures and relevant regulatory requirementsUnderstanding/experience of airline and airport operations with respect to RPT servicesExperience working both independently and within small teams About Us Alliance Airlines is an ASX listed company and is Australasia’s leading provider of contract, charter and allied aviation and maintenance services currently employing in excess of 800 full time staff.
