Newly created roles now exist for you to join us in our Operations Control Centre as a Crew Controller in the Network Operations team at Alliance Airlines.About the RoleThe Crew Controller role is responsible for ensuring all published Flight and Cabin Crew rosters are maintained to Enterprise Agreement, Regulatory Rules and Fatigue Risk Management Standards. The Crew Controller ensures all flights operate with the required crew complement, along with the correct suitably qualified crew sets for each flight.  The Crew Controller requires a proactive approach when managing disruption events to ensure crew resources are allocated efficiently, cost effectively and within Enterprise Agreement guidelines. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Compliance against all crew Enterprise Agreements and broader organisational policies and proceduresImplementing effective and timely disruption management solutions that balance cost, customer outcomes and compliance to Enterprise Agreements and company policies and proceduresEnsuring all consideration is given to managing resources in a cost-effective way to ensure unnecessary costs in utilising crew members duty is mitigatedConstruct Crew Pairings within Crew Management SystemConstruct standby duties to align against the flight scheduleConstruct Crew Rosters taking into account all regulatory, company and FRMS requirementsActively participating in solving complex operational problems and delivering outcomes as directed by Duty Manager, Manager OCC, and GM Network Ops etc Work effectively under extreme pressure and often with conflicting priorities  To be successful you will meet the following requirements:  Relevant exposure/experience within an Operations Control Centre environment highly regardedEducated to Degree level in Aviation Management or Aviation related discipline (Desirable, not essential) Must be extremely capable with PC/Software packages including (but not limited to) Excel, Airline Crew management and Flight Scheduling software systemsA clear, articulate communicator both written and verbal Ability to work under intense time pressures, often with conflicting priorities Ability to think clearly during high levels of network disruption, without impairing decision quality or work output  Highly organised and used to working to deadlines in a busy and ever-changing environment Highly developed planning and problem-solving skills Ability to work autonomously and within a team to make key operational decisions Ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders on a regular basisIt is a requirement of all our employees that we are fully vaccinated against Covid19 and Influenza.You must also have valid working rights to work in Australia.About UsAlliance Airlines is an ASX listed company and is Australasia’s leading provider of contract, charter and allied aviation and maintenance services currently employing in excess of 800 full time staff.
