Come and join the Alliance Airlines team as the Cabin Crew Service Standards Lead where you will play a pivotal role in the training in service and standard operating procedures for Cabin Crew.About the RoleThis position is responsible for the management, oversight and delivery of training, standards compliance and instructors of Cabin Crew Service and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Alliance Airlines on all fleet types.Reporting to the Cabin Crew Standards Manager, the Cabin Crew Service Standards Lead has the delegated authority to ensure the following responsibilities are delivered within their department: Effective people management of all Alliance Airlines Service and Standard Operating Procedures instructors.Management of the delivery of Service and Standard Operating Procedures courses to cabin crew across all Alliance Airlines fleet types.Maintain and update Service and Standard Operating Procedures training material and assessments.Maintenance of any recency and approvals for Service and Standard Operating Procedures training to be continually delivered for Alliance Airlines.Audit interdisciplinary functions within Cabin Crew Standards as required by the Cabin Crew Standards ManagerEnsure ongoing communication and engagement with Flight Standards, Cabin Crew Ground Operations, and Flight Operations Support on issues identified within the Service and Standard Operating Procedures training portfolio that may impact other operational areas.Manage and oversight the delivery of Service and Standard Operating Procedures courses (initial, conversion and recurrent) for cabin crewResearch and develop course material to meet the needs of the Cabin Crew departmentAudit, appraise and performance manage Service and Standard Operating Procedures instructors whilst delivering trainingPerformance appraise Full Time and Ad Hoc Instructors in conjunction with the Cabin Crew Standards ManagerComplete all necessary documentation and certification for retention of Service & SOP instructor recordsMaintain currency in mandatory proficiency and training requirements in accordance with statutory and company obligationsIn conjunction with the Cabin Crew Standards Manager ensure the maintenance of training equipment, facilities, and instructor coursewareTo be successful you will meet the following requirements:  Previous experience in a similar position and be a proven leader with exceptional people management and administration skills.Extensive experience in aviation operations, along with an in depth understanding of aviation regulation and legislation requirements.Previous experience as a Cabin Crew Service & SOP Instructor within a high-capacity airline.Significant experience with the development and implementation of training courseware and instruction.Strong people management skills and ability to interact with other operational departments.High level written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work under pressureDemonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team focussed environmentStrong analytical, reasoning, and lateral thinking skillsWell-developed computing skills, particularly Microsoft office suite of programsProblem solving skillsMaturity and ability to make quick, accurate decisions in difficult circumstances.Flexibility to adapt to a changing work environment.Tenacity, professionalism / maturity, sense of urgency, attention to detail, and confidentiality.Desirable to have experience as an active crew member, however not mandatory.You will be able to provide instruction to a high standard and embrace continual learning to implement best practises in training rolesAbout UsAlliance Airlines is an ASX listed company and is Australasia’s leading provider of contract, charter and allied aviation and maintenance services currently employing in excess of 850 full time staff.
