You will be responsible for working collaboratively with all Alliance departments to review, analyse and evaluate business systems to allow improvement of systems across the organisation. You will assist with the development and delivery of projects and initiatives that improve the state of the organisation.The BA works within the Project Management Office (PMO) and closely with assigned Project/Program Managers to deliver company initiatives.The Business Analyst is responsible for but not limited to:Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and formatsConstruct workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, writing specifications – Visio or other company equivalent software solutionImprove systems by studying current practices and designing modificationsRecommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved proceduresAssist the Project Manager or deliver the definition of project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements, forming project team, establishing project budgetAssist the Project Manager or assist with monitoring project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, recommending actionsMaintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidentialPrepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trendsContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededValidate resource requirements and develop cost estimate modelsWhat makes you the right person?Degree qualification with a specific focus on Business Analysis (i.e. IT or Business Administration)Comparable professional experience within a Business Analysis role within a complex organizationBackground in delivering business analysis activities on complex programs/projectsDemonstrated experience in leading business process and modelling activitiesDemonstrated experience in investigating business requirements in an environment that is complexAbility to identify and communicate with stakeholder groups to effectively meet their needs Demonstrated experience in facilitating open communication and discussion between stakeholdersAlliance AirlinesAlliance is Australasia’s leading provider of contract, charter and allied aviation and maintenance services currently employing more than 1,400 staff.Alliance has world leading operational performance, a key attribute sought by its customers.
