An exciting opportunity for an Airworthiness and Compliance Manager, reporting direct to the General Manager - Airworthiness, is available at Alliance Airlines, based in Brisbane within our Continued Airworthiness Maintenance Organisation (CAMO).You will be a motivated self-starter who thrives working and leading a team in a dynamic environment . The RoleThe Airworthiness and Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the Maintenance Program and all compliance Technical records for Alliance Airlines Aircraft Fleets. The Airworthiness & Compliance Manager is responsible for, but not limited to:The management and supervision of all matters involving the Maintenance Program for all Alliance Airlines Aircraft;The maintenance and auditing of the Aircraft Technical recordsAppropriate allocation and provision of resources necessary to efficiently maintain aircraft compliance.Ensure Change Management and Risk Management practices are imbedded in department processes Constantly review existing maintenance philosophy and processes for efficiency opportunitiesProvide technical support for company projectsMaintenance Program control and approvalMaintenance Software coordination, including clean-up mini-projectsAircraft Weight & Balance (W&B) coordinationNew Aircraft template load managementAlternate Parts/Tooling assessment & approvalCo-ordinate and attend relevant meetings as required, facilitate organisation and department communications.The management of safety and security as required in Engineering operations;Instigate, oversee and complete projects as required to support the Compliance department.Projects as required from General Manager Airworthiness The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Engineering operations, along with:Compliance experienceExtensive knowledge of aviation legislationDemonstrated planning and cost control experienceStaff management including good interpersonal skillsStrong analytical, reasoning and lateral thinking skillsThe experience and qualifications to be accepted by CASA as a Responsible Manager under Part 42Applications close: 21st July 2024Alliance AirlinesAlliance is Australasia’s leading provider of contract, charter and allied aviation and maintenance services currently employing more than 1,400 staff.Alliance has world leading operational performance, a key attribute sought by its customers.
