Alliance Airlines is actively seeking a Airport Manager on a permanent basis for a regional airport in Western Australia (Cape Preston). We are seeking someone who is motivated with a self starting approach to work and a high level of energy to manage the operations at a remote location.About the RoleThis role encompasses all general requirements needed for someone to operate a remote regional airport. You will be based at a mine site location with either FIFO provided from Perth or Drive in Drive Out from Karratha and work on a rostered basis.This role will report to the Operations Manager and is primarily responsible for the oversight and management of the airport and to ensure that the facilities are maintained and kept to a standard acceptable to Alliance Airlines. The role will also provide support to Alliance Airlines clients on airport at all levels as directed.This role must ensure they actively comply with CASA MOS139, in conjunction with company safety and security standards and documented company procedures.Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Management of day of operations requirements as applicable at the airportEffective people managementProvide support to the Client(s) at all levels as directed to ensure that their needs are met or exceededUndertake the tasks of Aerodrome Reporting Officer (ARO) at a regional airport to ensure that flights can be operated to and from the airfieldEnsure compliance of the facility with all government and regulatory bodiesMonitor training currencies to ensure training is up to date for all personal on airportEnsure that all applicable training records are current and well maintainedEnsure that all repairs and maintenance to facilities are completed in a timely manner and the facilities are in proper working order, ready for useSafety & ComplianceIQSMS response 100% up to dateAll incidents/accidents are properly investigated and reported • Acquit any Non-Compliance notices from internal and external parties e.g. CASA, IOSAAbout YouYou are a highly experienced Airport Manager with a keen eye for detail.
