Alliance Airlines is now accepting applications for the position of Aircraft Maintenance Apprentice - Structures in Brisbane. This is your chance to grow into an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer of the future and play a pivotal role in our maintenance operations at our Brisbane Maintenance Facility.

The position

Alliance Airlines is currently looking for candidates with a strong interest in aircraft maintenance to join our team through our 2024 apprentice intake. You will be responsible for assisting the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering team in the efficient and timely completion of maintenance tasks whilst gaining the required knowledge and experience to achieve:

• Certificate IV in Aeroskills – Structures

To be successful you will possess personal qualities of enthusiasm, self-motivation and a demonstrated commitment to exceptional quality, safety, and high standards of work output.

Specific Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a security clearance and hold a valid Aviation Security Identification Card
• Sound written and oral communication skills
• Sound mathematics skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn and grow into a trade qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
• High attention to detail and accuracy of work
• Well-developed computing skills
• Ability to think laterally in order to problem solve
• Sound time management skills
• Completion of an Aircraft Pre-vocational course (highly desirable)
