Our Alliance Airlines Rockhampton Aviation Maintenance facility is a $60M brand new, 3 bay Base Maintenance facility located at Rockhampton airport.
We’re expanding our team and looking for multiple Aircraft Maintenance Apprentices and want you to be part of our journey! As a leader in aircraft maintenance, we pride ourselves on safety innovation, and excellence.
As an Aircraft Maintenance Apprentice and under the guidance of our skilled Line Maintenance Manager and Shift Supervisor, you'll take on exciting responsibilities that include, but are definitely not limited to:
- Hands-On Experience: Perform essential mechanical duties, contributing to the efficient and cost-effective maintenance of aircraft.
- Guided by the Best: Work closely with experienced professionals under the Aircraft Maintenance Organisation Exposition Policies and Procedures.
- Safety-First Approach: Play a key role in upholding the highest safety and security standards, aligning with company policies and aviation regulations.
- Self-Driven Growth: Take charge of your apprenticeship by actively managing your theoretical and practical learning requirements.
- Safety Leadership: Champion a culture of safety and security reporting within the Safety Management System.
- Environmental Stewardship: Ensure compliance with OH&S and environmental laws, contributing to a safer, greener work environment.
Who we are looking for:
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior aircraft maintenance training is a plus!
- Aviation Know-How: Solid understanding of the aviation maintenance environment.
- Key Skills: A team player with the ability to work independently, show initiative, and deliver tasks with precision and attention to detail.
- Strong Communicator: Able to collaborate effectively with peers and leaders, following instructions clearly.
- Industry Experience: Hands-on aviation experience is desirable but not essential.
