What’s the role on offer?
Join Alliance Airlines as our Safety Data Reporting Analyst to enhance our safety performance through data-driven insights. Reporting to the Head of Safety & based onsite at our Head Office in Brisbane, you’ll analyse safety reports, identify trends, and support risk mitigation strategies to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. Your role will include but is not limited to:
- Analyse & Interpret Safety Data – Gather, review, and assess safety data from multiple sources to identify trends and risks.
- Drive Safety Insights – Develop reports and statistical analysis on safety incidents, using advanced tools to enhance decision-making.
- Enhance Risk Mitigation – Identify potential safety risks, propose preventative actions, and support investigation processes.
- Collaborate for Safety Improvement – Work with various departments to implement safety measures, training materials, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure Compliance & Reporting – Maintain safety databases, support eSMS reporting, and assist in risk classification and occurrence assessments.
- Promote a Strong Safety Culture – Actively contribute to the Safety & Quality Management and Fatigue Risk Management Systems, ensuring a proactive approach to aviation safety.

Who we are looking for:
Our ideal candidate is a data-savvy analyst with a keen eye for detail and a passion for aviation safety. With strong analytical skills, experience in reporting tools, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, you will play a key role in enhancing safety performance. A background in aviation and safety management is highly desirable, along with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Data-Driven Problem Solver – Proven experience in data analysis, with strong statistical and analytical skills to interpret complex datasets.
- Tech-Savvy Analyst – Proficiency in reporting tools, databases, and statistical software, with advanced Excel skills.
- Detail-Oriented Thinker – Ability to collect, organize, and analyse large volumes of information with precision and accuracy.
- Clear & Influential Communicator – Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and influence decisions.
- Aviation & Safety Enthusiast – Background in aviation and experience with safety management systems is highly desirable.
- Qualified Professional – A BSc/BA in Aviation, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics is preferred.
