About the Role
This role is responsible for administering the reliability program and ensuring the timely and proportionate investigation of Major Defects and other reliability issues. The role supports the analysis and collation of reliability data, identifying trends and key issues to inform standard and ad hoc reliability reports, meetings and broader decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure continual compliance of the aircraft maintenance programs, systems, reliability program and ancillary functions
- Manage the control and completion of all assigned SMS actions and Findings in a timely manner.
- Reporting and investigation of Technical Delays
- Conduct monthly reliability report data review prior to report compilation
- Research any alerts or anomalies from reliability report data
- Progress assigned reliability issues arising from reliability meeting
- Investigate aircraft defects and provide recommendation where applicable to prevent recurrence.
- Identify solutions to E190 and Fokker fleet technical issues that affect the aircraft OTP (On-Time Performance). Once systemic issues are identified, a plan must be generated and presented in the reliability committee to have the issue cleared or mitigated from a fleet level.
- Provide suitable communication of reliability matters to various audiences for the efficient operation of the company.
- Incorporate system changes following maintenance program reviews, reliability recommendations and continuous improvement projects.
- Support MPAE by collating reliability data for specific tasks subject to maintenance extension.
- Liaise with applicable CAMO Fleet Engineer and/or other internal personnel on particular maintenance system changes and ensure incorporation into Alliance Maintenance Program and manuals.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with strong analytical, problem-solving and reasoning skills. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective time management and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team-focused environment. You will have well-developed computer skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite, along with the ability to analyse and develop technical documentation, evaluate defects, identify potential causes and determine preventative actions.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Hold, or have held, an aircraft engineer licence in category B1, B2 or C; or
- Hold, or have held, a licence that is equivalent to a licence in category B1, B2 or C; or
- Have a qualification in aircraft maintenance at least at Certificate IV level; or
- Have an engineering qualification at least at diploma level in any of the following disciplines:

- Aeronautical;
- Avionics;
- Mechanical;
- Electrical;
- Electronics.
- Knowledge of the CAMO’s exposition
- Experience in the aviation industry
- Experience with high volume of dataset processing and analysis
- Experience with Microsoft products, including but not limited to Access, Excel, Fabric, Power BI, SQL.
- Experience in A/C systems (Avionics, Flight Controls, Bleed System), preferable on Embraer E-Jets.
