What's the role on offer?
Based in Brisbane, we are seeking a Recruitment Lead to manage and drive our end‑to‑end recruitment function. This specialist role sits within the broader HR team and works closely with leaders across the business to deliver effective, strategic, and high‑quality recruitment services.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing a recruitment strategy, leading a small team, supporting workforce planning, and ensuring an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience.
- Lead and develop the recruitment function, mentoring Recruitment Advisors and ensuring best‑practice delivery
- Design and deliver sourcing strategies aligned to current and future workforce needs
- Partner with executives and leaders on recruitment, workforce planning, succession, and early careers insights
- Facilitate resource planning and provide labour‑market and talent insights
- Manage recruitment budgets, advertising spend, agencies, and vendor relationships, including commercial negotiation
- Set KPIs, oversee team performance, and report recruitment metrics and trends to the Head of Human Resource
- Develop tools, reporting, and insights to improve recruitment efficiency and outcome
- Build external talent pipelines through universities and training providers
- Advise hiring managers on interview best practice, equitable selection, and inclusive hiring
- Ensure a strong end‑to‑end candidate experience and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to support onboarding and seamless new‑starter processes
- Deliver a professional, customer‑focused service to all stakeholders and candidates
Who are we looking for?
- Strong knowledge of contemporary recruitment tools, selection methods, and compliance
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK and ATS/HR systems
- Sound understanding of employment contract fundamentals
- Highly organised with strong judgement, communication skills, and emotional intelligence
- Proven ability to build relationships across all levels and handle sensitive matters professionally
- Minimum 5 years’ internal recruitment experience, including cost management
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Aviation experience desirable but not essential
