What's the role on offer?Based onsite in our Head Office near Brisbane Airport, this is an exciting full-time opportunity as an Operations Controller. Reporting to the OCC Duty Manager, the Operations Controller ensures the integrity of the Alliance Airlines Network by coordinating aircraft and crew resources while meeting safety, compliance, and operational requirements. You will manage network schedules and implement complex recovery strategies, considering resource availability, recovery costs, and disruption impacts. This role requires 24/7 shift work.Key responsibilities include:Maintaining the airline’s Charter and RPT schedule within the Operations Control System.Monitoring and optimising the airline schedule to maximise On-Time Performance (OTP).Managing communication for delayed, disrupted, and cancelled services.Coordinating Flight Planning with Qantas Flight Planning.Monitoring and assessing weather conditions across the network.Ensuring professional and timely communication with stakeholders.What’s in it for me?Novated Leasing for Employees – This enables you to bundle all your car running costs into one regular ongoing tax effective payment! You should be comfortable working under pressure, managing disruptions, and liaising with multiple stakeholders. Key skills and experience include:Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and airline operations software.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work under intense time pressures and manage competing priorities.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.Experience in rostering, crew management, and fatigue risk management is highly regarded.Qualifications:Experience in an Operations Control Centre (highly regarded).Degree in Aviation Management or related field (desirable, not essential).Experience:Previous frontline operations exposure in aviation or logistics.Understanding of airport operations, constraints, and crew resource management.Experience working in a high-pressure, time-critical environmentDoes this sound like you?If the sound of this role excites you and you have the skills, we're looking for we'd love to hear from you.
