Alliance Alliance is Australasia’s leading provider of contract, charter and allied aviation and maintenance services currently employing more than 1,450 staff. The Company provides essential services to mining, energy, and government sectors as well as wet lease services for other airlines. Alliance holds IATA’s IOSA certification, the only Australian contract and charter operator to do so and Flight Safety Foundation "BARS Gold" status, the first such carrier in Australia to achieve gold status. Alliance is unique in that it owns its whole fleet & currently that fleet consists of 36 Fokker 70/100 aircraft, 43 Embraer E190 aircraft with firm purchase commitments stretching to mid 2026 for a further 10 E190 aircraft.
What's the role on offer?
We’re seeking a proactive and engaging
Fatigue Risk Management Lead to champion fatigue safety across our Alliance Airlines network. Based onsite in our Head Office in Brisbane you’ll drive understanding, capability, and compliance with our Fatigue Risk Management System by partnering with stakeholders, coordinating data collection and analysis, and delivering clear insights that support safer operations.
- Coordinate and process fatigue reports, maintain accurate FRMS databases, and analyse both subjective and objective fatigue data to support risk-informed decisions.
- Monitor the effectiveness of fatigue risk controls, ensuring FRMS processes are consistently applied and continuously improved.
- Prepare clear, insightful data, reports, and presentations for fatigue review forums and leadership audiences.
- Collaborate with Network Operations, Payroll, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate fatigue removals, aligned processes, and seamless system integration.
- Build strong internal and external relationships, providing expert advice on roster changes, operational procedures, and training that may impact fatigue risk.
- Drive awareness and positive change by developing communication tools, supporting change management activities, and identifying improvement opportunities across the FRMS.

Who are we looking for?
People would describe you as a proactive, analytical professional who thrives in a dynamic aviation environment and enjoys turning data into meaningful safety insights. You’ll bring a strong understanding of fatigue risk principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate confidently across departments.
- Aviation experience or relevant tertiary qualifications, with familiarity in fatigue risk management principles and aviation regulatory environments.
- Strong data analysis skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and fatigue or crew management systems.
- Understanding of rostering, operations control, crew resource management, and the practical application of industrial and regulatory requirements.
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and capable of managing competing deadlines in a fast-paced, change-driven environment.
- Clear, confident communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams, chair meetings, and contribute meaningful insights.
- Demonstrated initiative, sound professional judgement, and the ability to work both independently and within small, high-performing teams.
