What's the role on offer?

This full-time Aircraft Utility Worker role is a hands-on opportunity to support aircraft maintenance operations at our Rockhampton facility. You’ll play an important part in keeping aircraft, hangars, and work areas clean, safe, and operational, while assisting engineers and technicians with day-to-day maintenance support tasks. Working in a regulated aviation environment, you’ll help ensure operations meet company, safety, and CASA standards, contributing directly to safe and efficient aircraft maintenance.

• Cleaning aircraft interiors and exteriors as directed by engineers
• Assisting with ground support tasks such as refuelling, oil replenishment, and ground power under supervision
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety of hangars, workshops, and surrounding areas
• Handling and transporting tools, parts, and consumables
• Supporting engineers during line and base maintenance activities
• Following all safety, quality, and regulatory procedures at all times

We’re looking for a dependable, safety-focused team player who enjoys practical, physical work and takes pride in supporting others. You’ll be comfortable working outdoors and in a workshop environment, able to follow instructions, and committed to maintaining high safety and quality standards. While prior aviation or maintenance experience is beneficial, a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

• A strong awareness of workplace safety and compliance
• Ability to follow procedures and work within a regulated environment
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
• Physically capable of manual handling and outdoor work
• Previous experience in aviation, ground handling, or mechanical environments (desirable)
• Relevant licences such as forklift or EWP (advantageous but not essential)
