About Alliance – Rockhampton Aviation Maintenance (RAM)
Rockhampton Aviation Maintenance (RAM) is a $60M brand-new, three-bay Base Maintenance facility located at Rockhampton Airport.
RAM has been established to provide Base Maintenance services to the Alliance Airlines fleet of Embraer E190 and Fokker 70/100 aircraft.
Located in Central Queensland, Rockhampton offers all the cosmopolitan conveniences of a contemporary riverside city and is just 35 minutes from the beaches of Yeppoon.
Alliance Airlines is unique in that it owns its entire fleet, currently consisting of 37 Fokker 70/100 aircraft and 31 Embraer E190 aircraft, with firm purchase commitments through to mid-2026 for an additional 26 E190 aircraft.
Alliance is locally owned, with the majority of shareholders based in Australia and New Zealand.

The Role on OfferAlliance Rockhampton Aviation Maintenance is currently seeking an experienced Aircraft Refinisher to join our Base Maintenance team in Rockhampton.
This role is responsible for the safe and efficient preparation, priming, and painting of aircraft and aircraft components in accordance with manufacturer requirements and company procedures. The position must actively comply with company safety and security standards and documented procedures.
To Be Successful You Must Have:- Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing
- A desire to undertake Certificate IV in Aeroskills (or equivalent aviation qualification)
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and JUST culture
- Experience preparing, priming, and painting aircraft or aircraft components
- Ability to mix, blend, and match paints accurately
- High attention to detail and quality of workmanship
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Sound communication and time management skills
- Willingness to carry out tasks as instructed
- Ability to comply with RAM AMO Exposition, Engineering Work Instructions, and CASA requirements
- Ability to obtain and hold a valid ASIC (paid for by RAM)
- Driver’s licence
- Ability to pass background checks, including medical, drug & alcohol testing, and police check
- This is an on-site position (5 days per week) with great hours
