About the Role
As the Accounts Receivable Officer, you are responsible for the accurate and timely processing of client invoices, monitoring and reporting client revenue, and managing debt collection activities to support effective cash flow and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, reviewing and sending customer invoices in accordance with customer contracts and agreements on a timely basis, including updating pricing variations where applicable.
- Processing accurate invoicing transactions using Technology One software.
- Ensuring that applicable recharges for individual customers are reviewed against contracts and billed in a timely manner.
- Maintain and reconcile the flight performance data back to source systems.
- Research and resolve any discrepancies identified in revenue reconciliations.
- Monitoring, collecting and resolving accounts receivable aging items.
- Assist with the establishment and maintenance of internal control procedures.
- Ensure that the Technology One system is updated efficiently when client profile changes occur.
- System development, implementation and maintenance to ensure accurate and efficient processing of accounting transactions.
Who are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Degree qualification or equivalent in a commercial discipline; Business, Commerce or Accounting highly regarded.
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrated previous experience in a high-volume accounts receivable role.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel software skills.
- Knowledge of professional collections practices and principles.
- The ability to build engaging client relationships.
- Previous ERP systems experience.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
- The ability to check data with a high degree of speed and accuracy.
- Reviewing, interpreting, and understanding contracts.
- Analytical and research skills with ability to acquire sufficient technical knowledge to understand the company’s key business drivers.
- Well-developed communication, initiative, and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to achieve innovative and practical solutions.
